Vacation to Seagrove Beach FL

We just got back from vacation to Seagrove Beach Florida with some of our best friends, Jamie and Larry. We had such an amazing time. We went non stop for 7 days. I now need a vacation from vacation. I'm pooped. Madison was great most of the trip. I was really impressed with how she acted last week. She is getting so big and she is so much fun to be around. It is wonderful to getting to watch her discover new things. She loved getting to see the beach! She looked so tiny against that HUGE ocean!

We did everything under the sun. We went to the USS Alabama in Mobile on the way down there. Madison kept saying I want to go higher! I was yelling I want to go lower! That was a rough few hours for me. I held on to Madison for dear life. It was a long way down. On Tuesday we got up at the crack of dawn and went back to Pensacola to see the Blue Angels fly and go through the navel museum. It was so cool to see them fly.. and SO LOUD. We also walked out on a really LONGGGGGGGGGGg pier while we were in Pensacola. We were watching men fish at the end of the pier. One guy caught a big fish and a shark swam up and took it before he could get it realled in! Made me a bit leary of going back out into the water....... We spent more time in the pool after that! We ate out every night and ate some good seafood. We got to sit out on a deck at a resturant and watch the boats come in with their days catch one night. We ate at Fudpucker's resturant one night with the alligators. That was a pretty neat resturant, but please, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't ask her to say the name. She overheard us talking about where we were going to eat for dinner and repeated it....kinda. Oh the innocence of a 4 year old. It's the most precious thing in the world.

Everyone but Madison got some kind of sunburn. I went through an entire bottle of sunscreen on her. My poor white husband got FRIED on Monday. I felt so sorry for him. He shouldn't be allowed out in the sun. Anyway here are a few of the 5 million pics we took...

Birthday Pics.. Yes I know it was in May. I am a bit behind

Madison had a great birthday(s) All 5 million of them. I have taught the girl well. She is only 4 and has figured out how to have a birthday week not just a day. We had a birthday party at the park, the Sunday before her birthday, for all of the family and friends. We ended up spending almost 3 1/2 hours playing and having a good time. She got lots of new toys to play with! On the Monday before her birthday she took cupcakes to her Kids Day Out class to celebrate, on Tuesday my mom, dad, and I took her to the Tulsa Aquarium to see "Nemos" She had a great time and we were able to meet up at the aquarium with one of my best friends that lives there. Madison had a good time with her daughter and they were instant friends. They held hands most of the way through the place. It slowed them down.... On Wednesday (May 20th), her actual birthday, we (as in us, my parents, Brian's parents, my grandparents, and my aunt) took her to Chuck E. Cheese's. Yep that's right. 9 adults and one 4 year old. I'm not sure who had more fun, the adults or her. She was more interested in playing on the slide than playing games so the adults took care of the millions of tokens we bought. Here are a few pics from the birthdays.
