School Supplies

If you know me well, you know my love for school supplies, so I think I was just as excited as Madison to go shopping for her supplies for kindergarten. Yes I took my camera, and yes it may have taken us 30 minutes to pick up 10 things but we had fun. Brian and Parker just looked at us like we were crazy. Oh well, that wasn't the 1st time and probably won't be the last...

Fishing

Dad took Madison on her first fishing expedition last night. And what I mean by expedition is a mowed pond in the middle of town, because that's how we (Mad and I) fish. She caught the only fish and the only duck... Yes she caught a duck with her little pink princess pole. Stupid thing swam right through it... She squealed when they reeled the fish in. I think she may have touched it once. She would barely even get close to dad while he was holding it to get a picture. I think she was afraid that the HUGE fish would swallow her whole! HaHa

Parker, You are 2 months old!

Oh wow. How fast time flies! Parker you are two months old now! You are smiling more and more at us everyday. You are starting to coo at us and we can even get a giggle out every once in awhile! You have us all wrapped around your little finger already, including your big sister! That smile of yours just melts our hearts. You are sleeping around 6-7 hours straight at night and go right back to sleep for another 3 or 4 hours. You are taking about 3 long naps a day too. What more could a mom ask for? You have been sleeping in your crib for about 3 weeks now. You look so tiny in that big big. Your mama has already managed to break your crib and had to order a replacement part! That didn't take very long... Your big sister wants to do everything for you. She wants to change your diaper but freaks out when we start to do it and decides mom can do it. She likes to feed you your bottle. I think she would tote you around all day long if mama would let her! You love her so much and just smile at her all the time. You can be so upset and sissy will start talking to you and instantly calm you down. You can be a bit leary of her sometimes, however. Especially when she is in your face and won't move. She likes to cover you with kisses and get as close to you as she can! She loves you SO MUCH! We have to go to your two month check up this week, so I will have to add your stats later.




Hi Everyone. I did this mostly to help me remember everything Parker is doing. I am horrible at keeping up with baby books, so I thought I might have better luck doing this! I got the idea off a friends blog and thought it was a great idea! He is getting so big so fast! How did he get to be two months old already? He is such a blessing to us.
