1st Field Trip

Madison had her 1st field trip on Tuesday. They went to a corn maze/petting zoo/ pumpkin patch/ cow ride/ big pile of wood chips that was more fun than anything else! Of course I HAD to go! Pictures had to be taken! (umm yeah that is the real reason I went, it had nothing to do with the fact that I was afraid they would lose my child or the seat belt less bus trip they had to take..really! Oh I worry too much!) In my last post I mentioned Madison and her nameless boyfriends. Well I caught a glimpse of them and overheard the funniest conversation ever between Madison and them while we were on the field trip.
Madison: Oh Hi boyfriends
Boys: Oh (nameless boy) there is our girlfriend from the playground. Hi girlfriend.
Boy 1 to boy 2: Should we play with her?
I thought she was just messing with me about the boyfriends. Oh no, they are real and they are truly nameless. They don't know Madison's name, she doesn't know theirs, but they are her boyfriends...

Kindergarten Rodeo

Madison attended her very 1st rodeo last week. Even though it involved only stick horses and a wood cow, she still had a blast and looked like a doll in her cowgirl outfit! I had the wonderful privilege of helping get the stick horses together for her class. We had a blast making them and I enjoyed getting to spend some time in her classroom watching her interact with all her classmates! She is loving kindergarten and her teacher. She comes home with some very interesting stories. She also claims she has two boyfriends on the playground. I asked her their names..... She doesn't know, they are just her boyfriends. We are in so much trouble!

4 months Old

Parker you are 4 months old today! We haven't had your 4 month check up yet but due to a bad sinus infection and a trip to the doctors office I know that you are almost 17 lbs! I love your wrinkles, rolls, and the dimples in your legs. And those fat chubby cheeks are almost to much for this mama! You are still such a happy baby. You fuss when you are hungry or have a dirty diaper. Most of the time you are all smiles. Especially for your sissy. You are still very fascinated with her and light up whenever she comes around. (Which is often because she is still very fascinated with you!) You started rolling over a few weeks ago but have really gotten the hang of it within the past few days. I can't leave you on your play mat alone. You roll right off of it. Yesterday, I guess you decided you weren't close enough to mama and rolled off your play mat and across my bedroom floor to get to where I was sewing! Sometimes you get stuck on your belly and yell at me to save you. That pitiful face is so sad! I am very afraid that you are going to be crawling at a much younger age than your big sis and I am done for! You have also learned a new trick in your swing. We MUST strap you in ALL THE TIME after how we found you a few days ago! How you got to this point so quickly with both your mom and dad in the same room is beyond me.

You tried your first bite of "real" food (if you can call oatmeal cereal mush stuff real food) today also. I don't think you really cared for it. You spit most of it back out at me. We were both covered in it by the time it was all said and done! I am kind of surprised since you stare at us while we are eating with this look that says, "MOM, I'm hungry give me some of that NOW"

You have discovered the exersaucer. I don't know how sure you are about it though. You like it in short periods of time. However you think it is funny when your sister dresses you up while you are in your exersaucer. Poor boy, you are going to have to learn to walk/run early if you want to hide from your sister's antics! Here are some adorable pictures I just needed to share of our sweet happy baby boy!

Parker 3 months

Parker, You are already 3 months old! That is just crazy. You shouldn't be that old already. Time flys when you have a happy, easy baby. You smile at everything and everyone. You smile best for your big sister. You guys seem to love each other so much. You are cooing and laughing more and more everyday. You sound like you are saying, "I good," which in reality you are. You are so easy to please and hardly ever cry. The only time you get fussy is when you are really really hungry and doesn't everyone get fussy when they are hungry? You are sleeping through the night. Usually 7:30 to 7:30. That makes this mama very very happy. We have had to get into a routine with Madison having to be at school every morning by 8:15. You started going to the nursery at church for 1 hour at a time while mom goes to her aerobics class at the church. I nearly had a panic attack the 1st time I dropped you off. You haven't stayed with anyone except your Mema and Pa Dresher or Mema and Pa Lee. You did great, and slept the entire time! You can sleep anywhere at anytime.(That is, as long as you are in your swaddle blanket or in a swing, you move around to much and wake yourself up otherwise!) I guess with such a loud and crazy big sister, you have had to learn to sleep in any condition. You like hanging out in your bumbo seat, which means you are holding up and controlling your head pretty good. You still get tired after a few minutes and your head starts to droop so you can't stay in it for very long. You also like to lay under your play mat and talk and smile to yourself in the mirror.

You are a big boy! Weighing in around 15lbs. You are wearing 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes already! I love those fat cheeks and thighs. You are a healthy baby boy. You still have your acid reflux, but we think its getting better. Hopefully you can stop taking that yucky medicine soon.

We all love you so much and thank God everyday that you are in our lives. You fit right in with our family and I wonder what we ever did without you. You and your big sister are such a blessing from God!
