We survived our very 1st school valentines party! Madison has a very creative homeroom mom that loves to let the kids get messy! They got to decorate birthday cakes for Jesus during their Christmas party and rice crispy hearts for Valentine's Day. We had to make Madison's valentines for her class crazy fast Sunday night because we forgot to do it until bedtime the night before the party! I see that becoming a habit in our house. Glad it was just valentines and not some really important school project that was due or something. Boy I'm glad Walmart is open 24 hours a day! Madison is doing good in school and loves it. She was ready (me too!) to go back to school after her gazillion snow days the week before. This was definitely a very exciting valentines. That night Britney's water broke and Jayden just almost made his appearance on valentines night. He missed it by 1 hour and 29 minutes!

Parker 8 months
Ok. So I am two weeks late,(ok by the time I post this, its nearly a month!) but better late than never right? My baby boy is changing so much these days. In the past month we have had to breakdown and buy him a new carseat because he just got way too big for his infant seat. We asked for clothes for him for Christmas because he was growing out of them so quickly, well he is growing out of those clothes too. We are buying him 18 month clothes... He is sooo big. I know I keep saying that, but he is. I guess I'm just not use to it. Madison was so petite and tiny forever! Our little man is officially mobile! He has figured out crawling and is everywhere! EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I can't walk out of the room for a minute. He actually followed his big sister into her room the other day. That is probably the most dangerous spot in this house! Toys are everywhere. Madison is having to learn quickly to play in her room if she doesn't want her baby brother joining her and playing with her toys. I see fights in my future starting with, "Mom, Parker knocked over toy," or "Mom, Parker just stole my book," You get the idea.
Its been one heck of a month! We had two big snow storms in a weeks time. The 1st bringing about 5-6 inches of snow with about an 1/2 inch of ice and the 2nd storm bringing 22inches of snow!!!!! Yes I said 22inches. That was not a typo. I am not a cold weather kind of girl. I HATE IT. I hate being cooped up in the house cause I can't drive anywhere, but more than anything I hate that Brian has to work in it. He actually went to work the day of the 2nd storm and made it to work and into his work truck. He made it down the highway about 20 minutes before they had to give up and come back. I know I should be thanking God for the sight to see the snow because it is beautiful, but I would really rather be thanking him for the beautiful sunny days and nice weather to play outside in! Which by the way we have had these past few days. 70 degree weather in February is something I can most definitely appreciate! In Arkansas they say if you don't like the weather just wait a week... I had to contain him to get some house work/crafting done!
Parkers 1st time in the snow
This was how he wanted to crawl (and still sometimes does) at first
