Lemonade Stand

Madison had her 1st "lemonade/Kool Aid" stand last Saturday afternoon. She has been wanting one and my family was over, so I let her do it. She made $2.00 off of 4 cups of lemonade at .25 each. You do the math... I think she should go into business full time. She tried to drum up more business by yelling LEMONADE FOR SALE at the top of her lungs at every single car that drove by. She only got one customer to stop off the street. It was my Mother in Law who happened to be driving by. Can you tell by the picture how much she "sold" and how much she actually drank?

Ballet

Madison started Ballet last month and just loves it. Most of the girls in her class are also in her Kid's Day Out class too so it really wasn't anything new. She took to ballet much faster that gymnastics. She seems to enjoy it much more. She thinks she is so big and every week takes off to go the classroom and tells me, "Bye mom, I'll see you later. I know how to get there." I have to remind myself everyday that she is only 4! Here are a few pics of her in her ballet outfit. They all have to wear the same outfit. Which is really nice. I don't have to go out and buy 50 different colored tutus and leotards. (Which I know, given the choice, I totally would!) We went through 3 pairs of tights in 3 weeks. They would survive the ballet class but not the 5 minute ride back to our house. It took some maneuvering to get a picture by herself. The little girl in one of the pictures would not let me take a picture of Madison by herself! It was too funny and she was too cute. Its not like I was going to say, "Can you move so I can just take a picture of my baby girl?" She finally got distracted for a second and I got exactly 1 picture of Madison by herself.

1st Hair Cut

A few weeks ago, I finally broke down and had Madison's hair cut for the first time EVER. I'm not sure you can actually call it a hair cut. I only let her cut less than an inch off just to get rid of the fuzzy baby hair. I was terrified that if she cut too much off that it would take off her curls all together! I am such a weinie! She felt like a big girl. Madison wanted to cut it off to her shoulders.. You can tell who won that fight!
