First Day of Kids Day Out 09

Madison started her last year of Kid's Day Out at church on Monday. I still haven't decided whether or not to be happy or sad. I think I am a little bit of both. I am sad in the fact that this will be her last year there, the last year I have her home with me, the last year that she and I can hop in the car and go do whatever we please, whenever we please, the last year that we can get up whenever and cuddle on the couch or in bed as long as we want to. Next year she will be headed off to kindergarten and I don't know if she will be as well taken care of there as she is at KDO by the wonderful Christian women that teach and run the program. Where did the time go? How is is possible that our baby girl will be headed off to Kindergarten next year? Great, now I am going to cry. On the other side of that, I am SO HAPPY that KDO has started back because it gives me a little break in my day. Madison is MOVING. CONSTANTLY. NEVER STOPPING. When she is at school I can get errands/housework done 10 times faster. But then I miss my buddy too. Its a no win situation. She is a happier child when KDO is in session. She gets to hang with her friends and burn off some of that excess energy. She is also learning valuable things that are essential for school next year. Her ABC's and 123's. You would think that I, being a teacher and all, would be able to teach her these things, but no. She won't sit still long enough for me, but she will for her teachers. I don't get it... Of course I had to take pictures before she headed off for her first day of KDO this year. I also found the one that I took of her last year before her first day. Look at how much she has grown! She is a little girl, she isn't a baby anymore. Wonderful, more tears. I have to go now! Have a wonderful day!

Razorback Fan Day

Razorback Fan Day was last Saturday afternoon and heaven forbid we miss anything that has to do with the Razorbacks... Brian has already been searching the football game schedule and figuring out which games are on tv and which to plan parties for... He is even going to Dallas for the Arkansas vs. Texas game in October. Here are a few pictures from fan day of the cutest little Razorback fan ever. Is it sad that she has been able to call the hogs since she was about 18 months old or so?
