Parker 5 months

Parker you are now 5 months old! Oh my! You are such a joy and I wonder everyday how our family was ever without you. You fit in so well with our family! You get wherever you want to go by rolling and doing this semi caterpillar type move. You put your head and stomach on the ground and then tuck you legs under you and put your rear end in the air and push. You haven't quiet figured out how to push up on your arms. But I am in so much trouble when you do! I was trying to get ready today and 3 times had to rescue you from the trenches of your sister's doll house. Apparently you wanted to play with it because I would lay you across the room on a blanket, go to the bathroom come back no less than 2 minutes later and you were back by the doll house. I have a feeling you are going to be just as mischievous as your big sister. You giggle the most at your big sister! She can just look at you funny and you crack up. You laugh with your whole body. There isn't a part that doesn't wiggle when you laugh and I LOVE it! You are also so ticklish. I can tickle your ribs and you just laugh and laugh and hold your breath and your face turns red! I am guessing you weigh around 19 lbs. It is so hard to carry you around in your car seat! We are already going to have to buy a new one soon. Your carrier is only suppose to hold a 22 lb baby! You are drinking about 5- 7 oz bottles a day, which ends up being a LOT of formula! You have started eating real food. So far it has been oatmeal cereal, bananas, apples, and a bite of mashed potatoes or two. I think green beans or sweet potatoes are next. Shhhh don't tell your doctor, she said to wait until you were 6 months old but said we could try a little bit of bananas with your cereal. That went so well that we just moved on. You needed some real food. The formula alone just wasn't enough for you!

I thank God everyday that he has blessed our lives with you and your sister's presence. You are such a sweet little boy and sent straight from heaven. What we did to deserve you and your big sister is beyond me. I am so thankful that he has entrusted us with your lives.

Just stuff!

Not much has been happening around the Lee house lately. I have been busy with my fall craft shows. They seem to consume my entire family during this time. It takes us all. Mom, Dad, Dee, Grandparents, In-laws. If they aren't helping me make stuff, set up the booth, or take it down, they are watching my children. I couldn't do it without each and everyone of them. Bless their hearts, I'm sure they didn't realize they were getting into the bow business too when I started all of this. I am so grateful for each and every one of them! I have had 3 shows already and have 2 to go! This is the 1st year I have taken on so many so close together. It will probably also be my last. I think I have worn us all out.
Brian turns 30 today! Woo Hoo. Now he can stop giving me a hard time. For the past month it has been nothing but you are old and 30 and haha I'm not... Well guess what! He can't give me crap any more! We have been together for 11 1/2 years. We have spent dang near everyday together through our 20's and had a blast. In those 10 short years we have dated, gone to college, gotten married, moved 3 times, bought a house, had 4 dogs, and had 2 children. That's just to name a few big things! Wow that's a lot! I am looking forward to see what our 30's bring us!
Madison is doing great in Kindergarten. We had her 9 week parent/teacher conference this week. Mrs. C said that Madison is a sweet little girl that is full of smiles and won't stop talking once you get her started! I could have told her that. She said she is fairly quiet most the time (except for nap time when she interprets as play time) but ask her a question and she will tell you her life story! She was having a hard time behaving one day and got in trouble so she informed Mrs. C that "it has been a crazy day!" She is so cute! She is always starving after school and thinks Sonic is a mandatory after school activity. She is staying very busy. She is doing dance again this year and started back to choir. She is so excited about cheer camp next week with the cheerleaders! I can't wait to watch her perform at the football game. I bet it is quite entertaining! She has gotten so big so fast. I can see a huge change in her since school started. She acts so much bigger! She does not like to be called a little girl. Every time I call her my little girl she informs me that she is not a little girl she is a big sister!
Parker is wonderful...and fat...err healthy! He was nearly 18lbs at his 4 month checkup. I bet he is nearly 19lbs now. I don't worry to much because his doctor said that big babies are usually their biggest at 4 months and will stop gaining weight as fast when they start moving and crawling more. He so wants to crawl now. He can get those little legs under him and push off. Its the getting his arms up that he is having problems with. Who can blame him. That's a lot of weight to hold up! He has been having some sleeping issues here lately and is wearing me out! He is usually so happy. All you have to do is look at him and he will smile at you. He has started eating cereal and bananas. He loves it and gets mad if you stop! He grins the entire time you feed him which make sit difficult to keep all that food it! Here are some pictures we took of our babies a few weeks ago, that is what you really want to see anyway right?
